Workshops or Seminars for couples are often the best way to deepen and improve a relationship in the most cost efficient way New Page 1

Workshops or Seminars for couples are often the best way to deepen and improve a relationship in the most cost efficient way. The nationally known, “Getting the Love You Want Workshop” has been likened to six months of couples therapy, and this is probably because taking a weekend to focus on understanding and improving your relationship has a more powerful impact than just an hour a week with a counselor. We still recommend that most couples also see a counselor, but workshops, retreats and seminars often result in a significant growth spurt.

In my practice, I recommend that couples attend a workshop as soon as then can and then use the weekly or biweekly therapy sessions to deepen the work and practice the skills they learned in the Workshop. For more information the workshops we offer, click on a Workshop in the left hand column menu.

If you need a workshop in an area other than Southern California, see our Link section or go to www.imagotherapy.com

Workshops often seem expensive but are usually the most cost effective way to use your therapy dollar. Workshops often cost twenty to thirty dollars per hour rather than one hundred fifty to two hundred dollars per hour.

Also be sure to check out the Couples Workstation and sign up for a free month’s membership  The Couple's Workstation is an area of our website where you can learn and use skills and processes that are used by professionals around the world -- and you and your partner will get email reminders about what is particularly important to each of you.. Click Here to “Take the Tour” of the Couple’s Workstation.  Our workshops and seminars are closely related to the content of the Couple's Workstation.
